Broadridge's Distributed Ledger Repo (DLR) platform has processed US$359 billion in average daily trade volumes (ADV) during September, with volumes totalling US$7.5 trillion.
The daily average increase highlights growing scale in tokenised securities financing, the firm says, driven by the expansion of its digital asset infrastructure beyond repo via its recently launched fully integrated, end-to-end tokenisation and digital asset infrastructure platform, DLX.
DLX integrates tokenised assets into existing institutional operating models via a modular, multi-chain architecture, establishing a common operating layer between traditional financial systems and onchain activities to mitigate operational complexity.
Horacio Barakat, global head of digital innovation at Broadridge, states: “DLR has demonstrated that tokenised market infrastructure can operate at the scale and consistency required for core institutional activity.
“That real-world foundation is allowing us to take the next step with DLX, extending the infrastructure and operating experience we’ve built in repo to a broader range of assets and workflows.
“This makes it possible for institutions to bring tokenisation into more parts of their business through infrastructure that seamlessly connects with how markets already operate.”
