Tradeweb has appointed Andy Goss as head of international institutionalised repo.
Based in London, he will lead Tradeweb’s international institutional repo business, with responsibility for product strategy, relationship management, and the expansion of electronic trading solutions across developed and emerging markets.
Goss brings buy and sell-side experience across global repo, rates, market infrastructure, and balance sheet optimisation.
He joins from Capula, where he served as head of financing, and previously held senior roles at UBS and Barclays.
Over the course of his 25-year career, Goss has navigated several periods of market stress, including the global financial crisis, the 2019 US dollar funding squeeze, and the Covid-driven liquidity shock.
Enrico Bruni, managing director and co-head of global markets at Tradeweb, says: “His deep understanding of market infrastructure, combined with his experience building and scaling global financing platforms, makes him well placed to further reinforce Tradeweb’s market leadership in electronic repo trading.”
Commenting on his appointment, Goss states: “Having spent my career at the intersection of financing, markets, and technology, the opportunity to join Tradeweb is compelling.
“Technology is creating smarter ways to access liquidity and manage collateral, and I’m excited to help shape the next chapter of Tradeweb’s international repo business.”
