NeoClear has appointed Loïc Salmona as chief technology officer of NeoClear Europe.
Based in London, Salmona brings more than 20 years of experience, having previously held roles at ENGIE (formerly GDF SUEZ Trading), Gaselys, and TeamTrade.
In his new role, Salmona will lead the technology architecture and delivery of NeoClear Europe's clearing platform as the firm progresses towards authorisation and launch.
In an online statement, Paul Whitehead, founder and CEO of NeoClear, says: “Bringing the right people together is a key part of that journey. I’m very pleased to have Loic joining us as we continue to develop the vision for NeoClear.
“Europe’s clearing landscape is evolving, and we believe there is an opportunity to approach its future with fresh thinking, clear priorities and a genuine understanding of client needs.”
He joins NeoClear after serving seven years as chief information officer at EquityClear at LCH, where he led technology initiatives supporting regulated clearing across equities, commodities, and digital assets.
His experience spans clearing technology, risk and P&L systems, enterprise architecture, cyber resilience, and infrastructure, as well as the delivery of new clearing services and regulatory programmes.
