LCH RepoClear has admitted Standard Chartered as the first agent member under its Guaranteed Sponsored Clearing model.
As demand for balance sheet optimisation and cleared market access continues to grow, Guaranteed Sponsored Clearing provides an innovative pathway to the benefits of repo clearing, the firm says.
Michel Semaan, global head of LCH RepoClear, says: “The admission of standard chartered as the first agent member under our Guaranteed Sponsored Clearing model marks an important milestone for RepoClear.
“It demonstrates our commitment to expanding access to cleared repo markets, while enhancing liquidity, efficiency, and resilience across the ecosystem.”
